Smooth leather is an organic material that needs particular care. Over the years, marks may appear and make it even more unique. For light-coloured leathers, avoid wearing them with dark clothing or denim, which could transfer colour.

Here are a few tips for caring for your bag:

• Nourish the leather (every 3 to 6 months):

  Use a nourishing leather lotion, preferably colourless. Apply a small amount to a soft cloth, then gently massage the leather in circular motions until the product is absorbed. Finish by buffing with a clean, dry cloth.
• If exposed to rain:

  If your bag gets wet, dry it straight away by dabbing it with a clean, dry cloth.
• Storage:

  When you are not wearing your bag, keep it in its dust bag, away from light, humidity and heat sources that could dry out the leather.
• Repairs:

  If the bag shows deep scratches, tears or heavily damaged areas, feel free to entrust it to a specialist craftsman or a cobbler for restoration.
